Hi everyone!
We're still wrapping up our blog, so thanks for being patient with us!
We continued with the second day of camp by playing more games with the kids that attended. Depending on their schedules, not all the kids could attend each day, so we played our ice-breaker games again! We had a total of 8 kids attend, 7 being girls and 1 guy. We played telephone charades, ultimate ninja, ping pong, card games, and a really intense speed memory card game. Takashi would call out a story from the Bible, and we would have to choose the card that has a matching picture to the story. It was fun to bond with the kids and our team, which opened up opportunities to talk with them about the Gospel.

Also, Takashi continued his message about our purpose for being created. Please pray for the truth to impact these kids and cause them to think deeply about God and their eternal state.
I think we learned that it's really challenging talking to these kids. Language barrier hinders our ability to clearly explain Biblical concepts. Mostly, they don't care to think deeply about their life. They would rather pursue a happy life now, because its immediate, rather than contemplate the consequences of their actions in the future. I'm so encouraged by the servants at HBC, because they really care for their youth and desire for them to be saved. It was a privilege to participate in this ministry with them and aid them in bonding with the kids and forging new opportunities to share the Gospel with them.
I'll leave you all with one last picture. Japanese kids might have a weird impression of Americans now.... thanks to Sophia.
