Hello everyone! This is Ray Kwan coming to you LIVE from Osaka Japan! Ok, if you're reading this it's obviously not live but if you pretend I think it will make for a much more enjoyable experience.
Konbanwa! It's Sunday night, and the girls are all at Amanda, Amanda, and Christi's place. Praise the Lord for fellowship! At the partay are our four girls, Amanda, Amanda, Christi, Yukari, Maki, Tiera, and Michelle. I believe some of the boys went to the onsen again tonight, but I'm not sure if that all worked out. We'll see tomorrow I guess!
Hello everyone, this is Leah and it is my time to update, mwahahahahaha
Evil laughs aside, yesterday was a very cool day of hanging out with college students. ahh, the long awaited missing friday post...
wakey wakey, after which did the whole brushing-teeth-washing-face routine... had a team meeting first thing, did the whole "is everyone alive? is everyone well?" you kinda start to not take things like that for granted after having the whole team was out for a few days due to sickness. Acts study pt.2 happened as a part of the meeting too, i think it may be one of the more favored parts of the trip-- time in the Word is so precious, cause communication is mentally tiring, while grunt work is physically tasking, so good time in the Word is a bit hard... but yeah, good stuff. konbanwa!! :) heehee wow i'm so encouraged to read my teammates' posts and how the Lord has been using each one of them and our team. man, it's been so encouraging to know that many of you are praying for our team--our ministry here and our physical health as well. :) it is very very much appreciated!
Hello all! This is Hyo, typing a new entry on Thursday afternoon, 2:45 PM. This is the update so far on our team: everybody is doing better than before, praise God! Thank you for your prayers. Dorothy and Leah are still taking medicine, but they are still not 100%. Beland is still recovering from his cold from the plane ride. Adler is also still recovering from stomach sickness, but he could function well today. Ray seems to have a cold, but it's getting a lot better. Addison and Priscilla are fine. I am doing well. God is so faithful to give us energy and strength for ministry work!
good morning from japan. it's 9:30am the next morning right now. this is beland again giving a quit update about how everyone is doing.
URGENT PRAYER REQUEST!
dear fellow prayer partners, everyone on the team is sick in bed except for hyo and me (beland) we desperately need your prayers now, because everyone is so weak they've been resting the whole day and can't really do anything else. This is now the 2nd day of our time here in Japan. Didn't have a chance to update our progress until now.
On the day of our flight, we left Westwood at 6:30am and got to LAX. Thank God for the faithful brothers and sisters who drove us to LAX. After we got there, we found out that our flight was pushed earlier, so we missed our flight. Thus, we had to get on a later flight to San Francisco. After a short one hour flight, we arrived at SFO, and made it onto our international flight to KIX, Kansai International Airport in Osaka. |
