The morning we left to the airport started at 8 o'clock when we called our assigned buddy to make sure they were both awake and had their passport. Every step in our airport process ran smoothly, and praise God for that! We arrived at the airport with plenty of time to spare to have our friends and family see us off. It was nice to see them all and to hear them pray for our trip.
The flight from Los Angeles to Narita Airport, in Japan, was a total duration time of 10 hours and 43 minutes. For the most part, the only difficult aspect of the ride was figuring out how to pass the time. However, for a few of us, every shaking movement on the airplane played tricks on our stomach. I'm sure Hannah is very thankful that she gets a three week break until having to board another plane. :)
Thank you all very much for your prayers because we arrived safely in Osaka, Japan at 7:50pm on Thursday, June 19th. At the airport we were welcomed by several members of Hamadera Bible Church. Our new friends, or brothers and sisters rather, have been very hospitable towards us and we are so grateful. We are excited to spend the next three weeks both attending church together and spreading the good news to those who would be kind enough to listen.
Ways you can be praying for us:
-Stamina on our long days of walking and talking
-That in our personal devotional times we would be refreshed and motivated by the gospel (Hebrews 12:2-3)
