Today we had camp at the church. For camp we invited all the students that we met throughout the week to come to church and play games in order to build closer relationships with the students. The students would also stay overnight and attend church with us the next day. About 6-8 non-believing students came out.
For the games, we had a water-balloon toss and an epic water-balloon fight. Everyone was super wet and I don't think anyone escaped unscathed. Eric and I got it particularly bad. We also played new and interesting games such as Frisbee Dodgeball and the "Watermelon" game.
After the games, there was a time where one of the members of the college ministry was able to share his testimony with the all of the people at camp. Another member of the college ministry was also able to give a short lesson on 1 John 4:9 which says “By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.”
After the lesson, we were able to have discussion groups with the non-believing about what they had just heard. I was able to have several fruitful conversations about God’s love and what the proper response to God’s love should be. Please continue to pray for these students as we continue to share the Gospel in Japan. Please pray that God would convict them of their sins and that He would soften their hearts to the Gospel.
Prayer Requests:
Thank you all for your prayers,

Prayer Requests:
- Please pray for Ryo-Ma, Yumi, and Brave. These were the students in my discussion group. Please pray for their salvation.
- Please pray that we would continue to be faithful and diligent in our ministry in Japan. Camp was very fruitful but tiring as well. Pray that we would continue to have energy to serve the people that we interact with.
- Pray for our relationships with the students. We have all had good conversations about the Gospel with the students. Please pray that we would live as an example of Christ to them.
Thank you all for your prayers,
