In the morning, we spent some time reflecting on how dinner with Takashi-kun’s friend, Kenta, went the previous night and reminded ourselves of our (STM’s) role on this trip—to encourage, build up, and partner alongside HBC in their evangelistic and discipleship ministries.
After shopping in the afternoon, we hung out with some OPU students again in the evening. We went to a yakiniku place across the street from the university and had dinner in three groups, one OPU student in each. Two were familiar faces from before—Da-chan and Shu—and the third was a familiar face to Eric, from a previous year(s). The girls ate with Da-chan, Yoshiki and I ate with Shu, and the rest of the guys ate with Kaede. We trust the Lord will use those conversations and our witness to accomplish His purposes in their lives, in hope that they will be drawn to hear the words of the living God in the life of the local church.
