ahh, the long awaited missing friday post...
wakey wakey, after which did the whole brushing-teeth-washing-face routine... had a team meeting first thing, did the whole "is everyone alive? is everyone well?" you kinda start to not take things like that for granted after having the whole team was out for a few days due to sickness. Acts study pt.2 happened as a part of the meeting too, i think it may be one of the more favored parts of the trip-- time in the Word is so precious, cause communication is mentally tiring, while grunt work is physically tasking, so good time in the Word is a bit hard... but yeah, good stuff.

after the meeting, we kinda did shotgun ministry, guys painted more of the church, gals went to english classes. i really think painting (well, simple stuff anyways) is theraputic, its also really nice to look back and see all that was accomplished; indeed, very very cool. had hirugohan (lunch) at the church again, and after which finished up some painting stuff, gals continued with classes. i took a short nappy poo before leaving for momoyama university, needed some energy for the upcoming conversations (did i forget to mention that talking with non-native speakers can be very tiring?).
it was kinda cool cause the car ride to momoyama included extra missionaries (aaron, two amandas, and christie came along), jun and e-chan drove; unfortunately, not very many people showed up, about 3-1 missionary to student ratio. we talked for about two hours; got to share the gospel with tetsuya, a student that i met two years ago. he had lived in canada for a bit and traveled a bit since i met him last, so his english was much much good, so yeah (i am starting to fobbify... its sad really.). it was kinda interesting too cause ray ray got to diagram like history according to the bible, very interesting. started from creation and timelined it to the end of the world, midpoint being the birth of Christ. i got to save hyo from a gigantic evil wasp thing (she didn't see it, but if she did, i think the decibles would've peaked...) it was pretty big, no, i am underexadgerating: the thing was godzilla's little brother. either way, the right sandal of insect loathing and disdain came down with ultimate chan fury... the remanents of the bug was disposed of with tissue provided by jun. ok, yeah, free talk time ended and so we went to eat at ramen-ya, same place we went to in previous years... a nice little trot from momoyama campus.
a somewhat unusual and well... interesting thing happened while we were waiting outside the restaurant; a random little child materialized from nowhere and attached himself to the lower half of my body at the waist. needless to say that i was somewhat shocked and slightly embarrassed that a random child would bear hug me... randomly. apparently, the kid thought i looked like his dad from the waist down (he was pretty short), and was kinda frightened cause he was left outside the restaurant, so latch on to first familiar thing... me. the kid was also somewhat shocked when he looked up and realized i was no more related to him than brad pitt... detached from my waist and ran off looking for his dad. anyways, fun stuff... had dinner with the students (and took a picture with weird-stranger-hugging-kid) and after dinner, returned to church. it was pretty late, so we all went our separate ways...
yeah so fun stuff. its my turn to sleepy, adrock signing off! oyasumi.
peace out: adler
