i've been praying and waiting for this for a long time. now we have less than 3 weeks until we go!
God is faithful, last year's trip was very awesome, the gospel was proclaimed, relationships built, missionaries encouraged, japanese believers spurred on, etc.
This year, 2005, I am looking forward to see God use us again to do more work upon what He has already established there in Japan in the past years. This really is a legacy beginning from the first missionary that has ever put his foot on Japan. God uses people throughout the generations to make His name known in all the earth.
Even though Japan has a believing population of less than 1%, it is evident from what we've seen and from the testimony of the missionaries there that God is still faithful in that land. Though for now most of the college students we minister to reject the gospel, we want to be continually faithful in proclaiming it. At the same time we pray that God will save these people....
especially for Tetsuro, who has been among us for a while and has heard the gospel. He attends Hamadera Bible Church and is still counting the cost of becoming a Christian and submitting his life to Christ, please keep praying for his salvation.
looking forward to see God answer prayers, looking forward to meeting old friends and new students, looking forward to speaking Japanese, looking forward to sharing the gospel with people who have never heard! looking forward to the onsen... somewhat.
please support us by praying for our trip, the dates are indicated at the top.
"And Jesus was goingabout all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
And seeing the multitudes, He felt compassion for them, becaue they were distressed and downcast like sheep without a shepherd.
Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
"Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."
Matthew 9:35~38
this group of people is serious about the gospel
