Happy 4th of July!!!!!
Today we got to church at our usual time and had our morning team meeting. We heard a message about the conversion of Saul and how every story of salvation is amazing.
It’s quite amazing how fast time has gone by. Already we are on our last day atNara. Meeting and talking with the students has definitely been an eye opening experience and a humbling experience. It has revealed so much need for us to rely on God and to trust that His way is best and that whatever happens is in His sovereign will. A lot of times in our weakness and inadequacy we think that we are in control of the situation, but we are learning to surrender everything to God.
Lunch today was at church and cooked by Tomomi! It was okonomiyaki with udon in it. It was delicious! Constantly the love of the church is poured out on us as a team and we are definitely grateful for their support. Tomomi also joined us for the rest of the day’s activities!
After lunch we had some free time to go shopping at Plat Plat! We had time to go buy gifts and various random Japanese things. You never know what you’re going to find inJapan. We headed from Plat Plat toNarawhere we met the girls and hungout with them; some for the last time.
The discussion groups during the hangout time with the students seemed to go very well. The students were engaged and many were asking questions. For dinner, we went to a place that had pasta and pizza. It was an interesting combination of seafood pizza and seafood pasta. During dinner many good conversations happened and I hope that the students would think more about what was talked about.

We are thankful that we had one last day to hangout with these students. Hopefully some will come out to our hangouts this weekend so that we can see them once more!
