About 15 students from Osaka Prefecture University (OPU) showed up at HBC at 5pm. We mingled for a little bit and then played an icebreaker. We sat in a circle and had to choose an adjective and a sign that started with the same letter as our names. The hard part was that we had to say the names of all the previous people before saying our own! Tricky tricky. Some memorable ones were “Yes we can” Yuki, “Honeybee” Hika, and “Researcher” Ryuta.
After the icebreaker it was time for dinner! During dinner we were able to talk to the students more and get to know them better while enjoying delicious sushi rolls! There were tons of ingredients – beef, salmon, egg, cucumber, squid, and my personal favorite (not really)… NATO! For those of you who don’t know, nato is fermented soybeans. I didn’t think it smelled or tasted very good… but the Japanese students seem to enjoy it…
The next game was telephone pictionary. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much concentration during telephone pictionary! The sentences weren’t too difficult, but the drawings definitely made the game more confusing. Some of the drawings were very impressive though!

After a few rounds, Isaac shared his testimony and Miho helped translate! I hope that the students were able to see the Gospel clearly through Isaac’s testimony, and we pray that we would have more opportunities to share the Gospel with them. We will be going to OPU tomorrow (Tuesday), so please be praying for us and the students!
