Sorry for the delay, but we're up and running now! We arrived mid-afternoon Saturday and were able to have dinner with some of the church members before unpacking.
Sunday morning, our team was introduced to the church and were able to meet many of the church members during lunch after services. In between services Silvie shared her testimony with the church and Collin and Ed gave updates about their lives since the last time they had been in Japan. We hope that it was an encouragement to the church to hear how God has been working in our lives. It was a great reminder for us to rejoice in the Lord for His great work in us to bring us to Himself and sanctify us each day.

After lunch, we were able to meet with the Japanese college team and talk about some plans for the trip. It was cool to see how they work together and how they are thinking through things. We're eager to work with them as they step up and really make it their ministry.
In the evening, a group of students from Osaka Prefecture University and Nara Women's University came to the church for a welcome dinner. We played an alliterative name game, Signs, and telephone pictionary with them. During dinner, we split up into smaller groups which made it a lot easier to get to know the students. It was a good time of conversing with them, slowly getting to know them. Some of the team members had some opportunities to share their testimony which was really cool! We hope that in the coming days, there will be many more chances to share the Gospel with these students.

Please pray:
- That we would be able to build on our new friendships with the students
- That God would open doors for us to share the gospel and that the students would have open ears and hearts to listen
- That we would be bold for the sake of the Gospel and not fearful of man
Thanks!
