Hello again everyone!
Today marked our 11th day in Japan! The Lord has blessed us with countless blessings: caring and servant-hearted HBC members, numerous gospel-centered conversations with students, not-so-crazy weather, and many other. We did not have our prayer meeting this morning because we needed to catch up on sleep and regain energy for the rest of the trip, but we had lunch at the church ^^. Akane, Priscilla and I (Silvie) got to help Yumi-San and Hibino-San in the kitchen, which was really fun! We had chicken, mashed potato and soup, which was very おいし!Fumika's friend, Tomoko, came to hang out with us afterwards. We played Jenga and Apples to Apples while waiting for the baseball game Tigers vs. Giants!
Et-chan, Hikaru, Fumika and Kon-chan came with us to Koshien to watch the game. We bought onigiri (rice ball) right before the game. for the first time on our trip, we had to squeeze into the train because so many people were headed to Koshien! we ALMOST didn't all make it but thank the Lord we made it (take a look at our pictures)! It was really fun to see how excited and fired up the Japanese were! They did different cheers and songs for different players; that was interesting. Some of us joined them for the cheers and Et-chan was really into the game. It was just a relaxing day for our team and it's a great bonding time. We got back pretty late and some of us were hungry from skipping dinner so we made a trip to Lawson, Eric's favorite store. It was a fun, relaxing day that the Lord allowed us to enjoy =)
Please enjoy our photos ^^
Humbly His,
Silvie
