Tim here again. For some reason, my apostrophe key is not behaving, so forgive me for missing them.
Today we met up later... 10 am. It was really nice to get a little bit of extra rest and break time from the schedule. After a morning meeting in which we heard some encouraging words from Priscilla, sang some worship songs and prayed, we started the day off in full swing preparing some things for some people later on this week. Im being vague on purpose because this blogs audience includes some of the aforementioned. We did that all the way until about 12:15 at which time we had a great lunch prepared by the church ladies (who are all great cooks) consisting of potato salad, miso soup, some rice and grilled (?) chicken. For dessert, we had mochi balls filled with vanilla ice cream.

Right after lunch, the guys including me ran off to develop pictures at this little mall area called Plat Plat. Jun drove us, and Leah-Faith came along (Leah-Faith has been here serving at HBC for about a year now teaching English). We did a little window shopping for the most part while developing pictures, and the girls stayed back at home base working on stuff... same stuff as before.
Around 3:45 we left for Osaka Prefecture University again to round out our day. This time the OPU students wanted to have a little sports day outside in a field. We started off with kickball... this one student, Yoshihito, kicked 2 homeruns to win the game for his team. Then we went to Japanese dodgeball, which is just like that Nintendo game "Super Dodgeball" for any video game players out there. We finished up with football (American), and it was Hamadera (us and HBC folks) vs. OPU. We lost. Humbling.
The best part about hanging out with the students is getting to talk to them, and we finally had the chance today to sit down and have good conversations over dinner at the cafeteria. A few of us were able to build some really good relationships, and especially some of the OPU girls seem to be really comfortable with girls on our team... Ashley was able to share the gospel with a girl named Yuki, and Priscilla has been able to talk a lot with Mamiko. Yoshihito also expressed an interest in studying the Bible a little bit to see what it says. Please pray for all these students that we've met.
Tomorrow we go to Osaka Christian College to spend time with the girls that we met last Friday and Saturday at the Tannowa Camp. It's hard to believe that it's been 4-5 days since we've seen them.
