hi! wow...i cannot believe that japan is only 13 days away! after finding out that i had been chosen to go on short term missions to japan in january, it seems somewhat surreal that I will finally be going. This is my first missions trip ever and I am really excited to see the Lord work in our team, at Hamadera Bible Church, the believers over there, and the non-believers we'll be ministering and sharing the Gospel with.
wow, its going to be my 4th time returning to hamadera, and for some reason i am still filled with same feeling of excitement and nervousness as my first time going to japan. i'm excited to see what this year has in store, as things will definitely be different, while some still staying the same.
So there are 15 days until we depart for Japan. This is my second time going on this trip, and I am really excited to see the Japanese friends that the Lord allowed me to meet last year. I am praying that God would use our team greatly in the lives of the believers and nonbelievers that we'll meet. I was reading through last year's entries on this xanga site, and it's really neat to remember God's goodness to us on the trip last year.
hello, it's Beland
i've been praying and waiting for this for a long time. now we have less than 3 weeks until we go! Wow, reading this site again reminded me so much of what happened last year on the trip. Time passes so fast, and I am going to be a senior after this summer! I'm excited that I'll be able to go back to osaka to see the people I've met last year and see what God has been doing in their lives. I know God has taught me so many things this year so I can be a more effective tool for Him. Ok, I know people don't like to read long posts, so I'll stop here... Come read our posts when we're in Japan!
- Addison Wow. It's been 10 months since the last entry. In some ways it seems like a long time ago. In other ways it does not. So much has been packed into the last 10 months. I can't believe I've done two years of part-time seminary already. I can't believe last year's freshmen are almost upperclassmen. It all happened in a blink of an eye.
